Job details

We are currently looking for a Plastic Surgeon Consultantwho will work for a well-known hospital based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In thisrole, you will have the following responsibilities: §Perform invasive surgeries tocorrect physical deformities in patients §Administer non-surgical treatmentto enhance outward beauty §Synthesize skin grafts fromintegra or obtain them from recipient/donor §Carry out pediatric plasticsurgery to treat congenital defects such as cleft palate and polydactyly inchildren §Perform microsurgery to transfertissues to reconstruction sites (head/hand) where they are missing §Examine and diagnose patients toidentify an abnormality and determine suitable course of treatment §Ensure compliance withestablishing surgical techniques during plastic surgery §Direct and coordinate theactivities of nurses, assistants and residents §Examine operating room and medicalinstruments to ensure they are clean and sterile §Confer with other plastic surgeonsand medical professionals to exchange ideas §Use photographs and verbaldescriptions to identify patients' visual expectations and set a referencepoint §Inject patients with botox toreduce muscle activity and temporarily lessen appearance of facial wrinkles §Educate patients on the risksassociated with a procedure as well as proffer recommendations onpost-operative requirements §Follow up on patients aftersurgery to track their healing process and personal adjustment to treatment §Install prosthetic devices onpatients to allow for restoration of appearance.
