Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing structural engineering projects on-site, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency in our construction projects.

  • Lead and manage structural engineering aspects of complex construction projects from design to completion.
  • Conduct on-site structural inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with design specifications and local building codes.
  • Develop and review structural designs, calculations, and drawings for various building types and infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and other engineers to resolve technical issues and optimize project outcomes.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Prepare and present technical reports, structural analyses, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, innovative construction techniques, and local building regulations.
  • Implement and maintain safety protocols on construction sites.
  • Participate in business development activities and client meetings as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent.
  • Relevant structural engineering certifications (e.g., Chartered Engineer).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on on-site roles.
  • Advanced knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro).
  • In-depth understanding of building codes and standards (e.g., Eurocode, ACI, AISC).
  • Strong project management skills and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
  • Proven experience in construction supervision and on-site problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with local building regulations and standards in the UAE.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and geotechnical engineering principles.
  • Detail-oriented approach with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel to various construction sites as required.
