ResponsibilitiesPrepare classroom and course materials to facilitate effective ESL instruction for primary school students.Assign homework and exams, and grade students' assessments to monitor progress and comprehension.Develop individualized educational plans for students with special requirements, such as learning disabilities, to ensure inclusive learning experiences.Stay updated on new teaching methods for ESL instruction and implement research-based strategies in the classroom.Create a supportive and positive classroom environment conducive to learning and student engagement.Maintain accurate records of student attendance and grades for reporting purposes.Handle classroom crises effectively and with composure, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.Inform parents about student progress and collaborate with them and other educational staff to support student learning and development.RequirementsPrevious experience as an ESL teacher or similar role, particularly in primary education.Knowledge of various methods of teaching English to non-native speakers, with a focus on primary school-aged children.Excellent organizational and communication skills to effectively manage classroom dynamics and engage with students, parents, and colleagues.A calm and resilient personality, capable of handling classroom challenges with professionalism and empathy.ESL or TESOL certification demonstrating proficiency in teaching English as a second language.Bachelor's degree in English Language, English Literature, or a similar field, with a focus on primary education.
