- Shall have experience in offshore structures like Jackets, Topsides, Decks / Wellheads as per AWS D1.1.
- Conduct thorough inspections of welding activities on offshore structures ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Review and approve welding procedures and qualifications including WPS and PQR to meet project and safety requirements.
- Perform nondestructive testing (NDT) inspections including RT, UT, MT, and PT and analyze results to identify any defects or nonconformities.
- Collaborate with construction teams to address technical queries and ensure effective communication regarding quality standards and inspection results.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation for all welding activities including nonconformance reports and corrective actions.
Requirements
Qualifications:- Diploma/BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience with welding inspection and CBT welding.
- Should have Aramco approval as a Welding Inspector and 8000 Series SAP No.
- Aramco Approved CBT qualified.
- Should have cleared CBT in Welding.
- Should have Offshore Structures Experience (Jackets, wellheads, platforms, etc.).
- CSWIP 3.1/AWS and NDT Level II in RT, UT, MT, PT.
- Previous experience with Saudi Aramco is mandatory.
