LVMH Beauty Middle East & Africa manages 8 different brands including Parfums Christian Dior, Make Up for Ever, Givenchy, Kenzo, Loewe, Acqua Di Parma, Guerlain, and Benefit Cosmetics. LVMH Beauty Middle East & Africa oversees an area of 52 countries and 53 airports in the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and India with subsidiaries and agents' structures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the supervision of the Demand & Supply Planning Manager of Benefit, the Demand and Supply Planner is the interface between the Brand (Marketing, Sales, Controlling, E-commerce, Education, PR) and Logistic teams located in Dubai and the Supply Planning team in the US. The main responsibilities will be to manage the inventory and define the correct replenishment of products matching clients' demand needs and expectations with availability, cost, and cash efficiency.

REPLENISHMENT

Coordinate the launch of new products and promotional campaigns.

Allocate the distribution of new products based on the On-Counter Date (OCD) and the retro planning, by correctly placing orders.

Proactively identify & report product shortages / stocks excess risks through all planning horizons.

Maximize the presence rate at counters and guarantee the best fulfillment service level for all retailers and agents of the region.

Manage the product life cycle.

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

Control the stock level and quality - optimize the inventory depletion (sales, staff sales, returns & disposal…).

Run monthly stock expiry analysis to help ensure the stock health.

Organize stock count and manage stores' assortment by organizing returns or rebalancing between our boutiques.

Identify fast movers to adjust their level of stock.

DEMAND MANAGEMENT

Collaborate with the sales and marketing departments to define novelties allocation in our boutique across the region.

Maintain high product availability by ensuring accurate forecasting based on historical data (Sell-Out, Market trends, Markets Shares, activations…) and considering launches, discontinuation, cannibalization…

Investigate and evaluate the impact of relevant constraints and factors that could impact the demand plan.

Monitor and explain the Forecast Consumption.

Train and support local team on forecast non-sellable items (PR box, collaterals …).

Assist marketing in the forecast of POSM per customer and track their consumption.

Allocate and track the new launches to ensure we meet the OCD (On Counter Date) on all markets planned.

Plan product replacement in the region while minimizing the return quantities.

Animate monthly meetings with HQ to share visibility on market trends, animations, discontinuation…

PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS AND MANAGEMENT

Analyze and provide visibility on the supply chain performance and risks for service/stock/P&L impact to Brand and Shared Service Center.

Make recommendations and lead corrective and preventive action plans to drive business metrics with key internal functional areas and key clients.

Support the development of the logistics department by initiating and supporting improvement projects in terms of service level, stock and replenishment.

In this position, all initiatives taken to propose and conduct any continuous improvement actions/projects (optimized tool, simplified processes, reduction of administrative workload...) will be welcome and encouraged.

PROFILE

Professional experience

Minimum 3 years' experience in Supply Chain.

Education

Bachelors with relevant Supply Chain certification or Master's with a specialization in Supply chain or Logistics.

Languages

Fluent in English, Arabic can be an advantage but is not compulsory.

Competencies

Knowledge and understanding of Distribution / Supply Chain concepts and application.

Proficient user of the MS Office 365 / skills in Power BI and advance Excel is an advantage.

Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.

Strong interpersonal and communications skills (oral & written).

A dynamic and proactive personality.

Self-starter with ability to work independently and react quickly to changing priorities.

WORK RELATIONS

Internal work relations: Brand (Marketing, Sales, Controlling, E-commerce, PR, Digital); other SSC Teams (Logistics, Controlling, Regulatory affairs; Traffics); and HQ (Supply, Forecast, Procurement).
