Job Description
We are seeking a skilled, reliable, efficient QS Engineer to join our growing organization. In this position, you will estimate the costs of construction projects, working with contractors, builders, and architects to provide the most cost-effective plans that meet high-quality standards. You must have strong organizational and communication skills in order to manage and direct development plans.
Responsibilities
Prepare technical submittals & quotations
Prepare complete job costing for the company's projects
Prepares invoices with supporting documents (Drawings & IRs) for submittal
Quantify work done at site to be billed during invoicing period; keeps invoiced drawings in record
Coordinate with site concerns and responsible in drafting and sending communication letters to main contractor/suppliers
Assist in following up some Main Contractor's payment certificates
Qualifications
Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidate should have experience in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
Knowledge: Knowledge of construction chemical products (floor coating - waterproofing - concrete repair etc.) is an added advantage
Skills: Experience in preparation of Shop drawings
Communication: Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
