The Public Relations Officer (PRO) will be responsible for handling all government-related documentation, approvals, certifications, and renewals for the company. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience working as a PRO in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK), with a strong understanding of both local and federal laws. The role requires a passionate, driven, and result-oriented individual with excellent communication skills in Arabic and a deep familiarity with UAE government portals and procedures.Key Responsibilities:Government Relations & Approvals:Handle all company-related transactions with government authorities, including visa processing, labor contracts, trade license renewals, and other necessary approvals.Obtain, renew, and update various licenses, permits, and certifications as required by the local authorities and ensure compliance with all legal requirements.Maintain relationships with government departments, including but not limited to, RAK Municipality, Ministry of Labor, Immigration, and Economic Departments.Documentation & Certification Management:Manage and submit all government-related documentation through online portals (e.g., RAK Government portals, Ministry portals, Immigration portals).Ensure all company documentation, contracts, and licenses are up-to-date and meet legal and regulatory requirements.Manage the process of notarizing, attesting, and legalizing documents for various business purposes.Compliance with Local and Federal Laws:Stay updated with the latest changes in local and federal laws, regulations, and processes related to government transactions.Advise the company on any legal requirements or changes in governmental policies that could affect operations.Collection & Submission of Documents:Collect, verify, and submit documents related to visas, work permits, licenses, and other government-required certifications.Coordinate with the human resources department to manage employee documentation such as visas, Emirates IDs, health insurance cards, and labor cards.Administrative Support:Provide administrative support to ensure that all documentation, payments, and processes are carried out efficiently and on time.Maintain accurate records of all governmental transactions, submissions, and payments, ensuring timely renewals and avoiding penalties.Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key officials in various government departments to facilitate smooth and fast processing of approvals.Represent the company in a professional and positive manner during interactions with government officials.Skills & Qualifications:Nationality: Must be an Arab national.Experience: 5-10 years of experience as a PRO in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK).Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of local and federal laws related to government transactions, visa procedures, and company registration.Languages: Fluency in Arabic (written and spoken); proficiency in English is an advantage.Technical Skills: Proficient in using government portals (e.g., MOHRE, immigration portals, and RAK government systems).Attributes: Passionate, driven, results-oriented, and committed to ensuring compliance and efficiency in all government-related tasks.Work Environment:Fast-paced environment with deadlines, requiring strong organizational and time-management skills.Collaborative environment with frequent interactions with the HR and finance departments, as well as government entities.This role is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a government relations role and is passionate about compliance and efficiency in their work.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per monthExperience:PRO: 5 years (Required)Working with RAK government and other authorities: 5 years (Preferred)
