About the job Manage all interiors fit out projects including review and supervision of architectural/interior design development and specifications for civil projects to ensure that they are in accordance with the agreed scope of work and contract requirements. Development of space planning for ADNOC Distribution premises. Responsible for renovation project of company's floors when needed in coordination with relevant stakeholders. Prepare and finalize office allocation and space management in alignment with ADNOC Corporate Office Space Standards. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Project Interior Design Planning, Development and Execution

  1. Review and develop space planning, FF&E (Furniture, Furnishing & Equipment) statements of requirements and scope of work for consultants and contractors for interior design works for new projects in collaboration with the end users.
  2. Develop specifications/standards and guidelines for in-house use. Review the interior/architectural design works of consultant/contractors to ensure that they are in accordance with the agreed scope of work and contract requirements.
  3. Review/endorse drawings, specifications and other technical documents for all types of projects in accordance with contract documents within the contractual time frame.
  4. Supervise the work of Project Management Consultants specialists and ensure that quality and standards are maintained, and cost-effective solutions are adopted.
  5. Co-ordinate the interior design work interface between existing and ongoing projects to ensure optimal system design.
  6. Review in-house engineered works including drawings, specifications scope of work and annexure to meet end user requirements.
  7. Conduct meetings and discussions to ensure timely intervention from the customer through the various Project Stages.
  8. Provide professional assistance to Project Managers, Procurement Services and Projects Control through all phases of ongoing projects and the design specification and drawings are fully coordinated with other discipline engineers.
  9. Ensure cost-effective solutions and application of value-added engineering design throughout the duration of projects.
  10. Ensure that state-of-the-art technology is applied in the selection of finishing materials and FF&E materials.
  11. Conduct Site visit in coordination with the team and prepare site observation reports if required.
  12. Prepare design proposals in AutoCAD, Furnishing, Material Selection and FF&E Specifications.
  13. Maintaining and monitoring projects plan and time schedule to ensure on time completion of work.
  14. Coordinate provision of office space and layout for departments according to their requirements; and coordinate installation of furniture and equipment.
Technical Bid Evaluation
  1. Review the bidders list/tender documents prepared by consultants. Participate in technical evaluation of tenders/bids and endorse the selection of finishing materials and FF&E materials.
  2. Technically evaluate and reply to related extension of time (EOT) claims and notifications from contractors/consultants.
HSE & Quality
  1. Monitor construction progress and quality of work to ensure compliance with the contract requirements.
  2. Coordinate on quality, HSE, planning and cost control related activities and act as focal point in internal HSE/Quality auditing.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Minimum Qualification
  1. Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field from a recognized university.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
  1. 8 years of in interior fit out and refurbishment/building projects including at least 4 years in architecture/interior design works.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
  3. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools, including AutoCAD, Revit, and other design and project management applications.
  4. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with various internal and external stakeholders.
  5. A proven track record of delivering high-quality design solutions that meet client requirements and adhere to regulatory standards.
