JOB INFORMATION Job Title: Neurosurgery Consultant Department: Neurosurgery SHORT DESCRIPTION An excellent opportunity to join as a Neurosurgery Consultant for one of the most prestigious and top-tier leading hospitals in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. JOB SUMMARY As a neurosurgery consultant at a top-tier hospital in Saudi Arabia, your role would involve providing specialized neurosurgical care to patients with a wide range of neurological conditions. You would be responsible for evaluating and diagnosing patients, developing tailored treatment plans, and performing complex surgical procedures with the support of a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Your expertise in neurosurgery would contribute to the hospital's commitment to delivering high-quality, cutting-edge care. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide high-quality neurosurgical care to patients in this area of medicine.
- Provide consultative service as requested.
- Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.
- Actively participate in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in your area of expertise and participate in research activities.
- Participate in committees and other administrative functions as needed.
- Perform special procedures as privileged.
- Follow all hospital-related policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
- Completion of the required period of training in Neurosurgery.
- Saudi Arab or American/European Board Certification or equivalent.
- Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent, fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as required.
- A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must.
- Dataflow is a must.
- Minimum 3-4 years post Board/Fellowship in Neurosurgery.
- A registered member of the Saudi Board Council.
- Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.
- Positive professional references attesting to the candidate's skills and ethical conduct.
