POSITION PURPOSE:The Move One Destination Consultant is the primary point of contact for the assignee during any destination service.RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/FUNCTIONS TASKS:Communicate effectively and efficiently to all customers, assignees and/or vendors (i.e. realtors) and manage expectations - always be proactive;Contact the assignee and clearly explain the service to be provided and any related procedures and timelines;Encourage the assignee to visit the Move One City Guide as a valuable pre-arrival resource;Discuss and confirm service needs, interests, and requirements with the assignee and establish the "Service Key";Conduct orientation and homefinding visits with assignees in the company or own vehicle;Maintain consistent contact with the assignee throughout the service;Work closely with coordinator and junior consultant;Record vital service-related information in viaRELO daily by completing comments, statuses, time-tracker, costs, and other fields;Provide clear and timely updates and service reports to any local Move One clients for whom they are providing services;Track upcoming expiration dates in viaRELO and notify the appropriate contact (local HR, Lead Consultant, or HQ Regional Coordinator) of any expiration date notices;Immediately notify their local Lead Consultant and/or their Regional Coordinator of any issues or challenges that may arise during a relocation service and document the issues/challenges in viaRELO, placing the service on alert;Maintain up-to-date knowledge and awareness of their destination city by reading expat websites and publications;Assist with any surveys or requests for relocation-related information for their destination;Provide excellent Customer Service to ensure customer issues are resolved;Build long-term relationships with all new customers, acting with integrity, building trust.CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:University degree is preferred;A minimum of two years service industry experience in a customer service role is essential;UAE Driving licence is essential and own vehicle preferred;Must have strong PC skills;Demonstrated ability to work in a proactively diverse and inclusive organization;Effective problem-solving and mediation skills;Inquisitiveness and eagerness to continuously develop self on destination city information;Sophisticated manner (ability to relate to people, clients, and staff, at all levels);Strong service inclination and customer orientation;Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and with confidence (verbally and in writing);Excellent listening skills;Time management skills;Strong attention to detail.WORK REQUIREMENTS:Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments;Interact professionally with other employees, customers, and suppliers;Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations;Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.ABOUT THE COMPANY:Move One provides time-critical supply chain solutions in the areas of logistics, relocation, and moving.
