Role DescriptionThis is a full-time role as a General Manager of Engineering at Bin Dhaen Holding Pvt. S.C. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for Business Development, overseeing all engineering operations within the company. This includes managing engineering teams, overseeing project management, project engineering, inspections, and civil engineering. This is an on-site role located in Dubai.Expectations:You're expected to drive business development efforts, seeking out new clients, projects, and markets. This involves networking, building relationships, and identifying opportunities for expansion. Stakeholders expect you to develop and execute a robust business development strategy that aligns with the company's goals and targets potential clients effectively. Maintaining high standards of quality in engineering solutions is essential. Clients rely on your expertise and expect accuracy, reliability, and innovation in your deliverables.Innovation and Adaptability:Engineering is a dynamic field, so stakeholders expect you to foster a culture of innovation and adaptability within the company. Staying abreast of technological advancements and industry trends is essential. Stakeholders expect you to manage the company's finances prudently, ensuring profitability, managing costs, and optimizing resources effectively.QualificationsAn Architect by Education and a Marketer by network Engineering Management, Project Management, and Project Engineering skills Excellent leadership and team management skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Extensive experience in the engineering industry is essential, typically spanning at least 10-15 years in Dubai preferably. Progressively responsible roles in engineering, project management, business development, and leadership are valuable. Experience specifically in the consulting sector, preferably in roles with increasing levels of responsibility and leadership, is highly desirable.
