Network Connection Technician

Summary:
The Network Connection Technician is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining the company's network connections. This includes installing and configuring routers, switches, and other network equipment; troubleshooting network problems; and maintaining network documentation. The Network Connection Technician must have a strong understanding of networking principles and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Install and configure routers, switches, and other network equipment
Troubleshoot network problems
Maintain network documentation
Update network firmware and software
Work with other IT staff to implement new network technologies
Stay up-to-date on industry trends
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in computer networking or a related field
2+ years of experience in network administration or a related field
Strong understanding of networking principles
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with a variety of network hardware and software
