The purpose of the Energy Optimisation Specialist HVAC is to utilise their technical capability primarily in relation to HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) systems to identify, develop and deliver energy efficiency solutions, and to develop, refine and utilise data and analytics tools to maximise energy efficiency opportunities for Accacia's real estate clients.ResponsibilitiesAssess and analyze energy consumption in HVAC systems, identifying opportunities for energy optimization and cost reduction.Develop energy management strategies and initiatives to improve system performance and reduce emissions.Work with the Product team to productize energy audits and recommend energy-efficient solutions such as equipment upgrades, retrofits, and control strategies.Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to identify energy-saving technology solutions and devices, and develop frameworks to monitor their effectiveness.Evaluate new technologies and devices for HVAC energy optimization and onboard them within the Accacia product environment.QualificationsFamiliarity with energy management concepts, including energy audits, energy-efficient technologies, and sustainability practices.Proficiency in HVAC systems, such as Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Direct Digital Controls (DDC).Knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards, such as ASHRAE, ANSI, and local building codes.Project or energy management certifications (e.g., PMP, CEM) are desirable.Experience of 5-8 years working as an HVAC systems operator and engineer with at least 2 years in international markets like Singapore, Dubai, US, Canada.Exposure to both air-conditioning and heating systems is desirable.
