1. Summary of Functions:

As a Sales & Marketing Engineer at Mayar Gulf Engineering Consultants, you will be pivotal in driving sales and marketing initiatives to promote our engineering solutions. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and strategic acumen to effectively communicate our services' value to clients.

2. Duties and Responsibilities:

Identify tenders and RFPs that match the scope of the company's engineering solutions.
Write Technical Proposals and Prepare Quotations with the assistance of the company's consultants.
Utilize technical knowledge to articulate content in proposals.
Use the company's ERP system to generate leads and follow up on current leads, RFQs, & RFPs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their evolving needs and proposing appropriate solutions.
Use project management software to generate cost estimations and project durations for proposals and quotations.
Provide input to product development teams based on client feedback and market insights.
Respond to RFQs from clients.
Register and maintain registrations for the company's clients' vendor portals.

3. Authorities:

Recommend sales and marketing strategies to maximize client engagement and revenue generation.
Access relevant sales and marketing resources to support business development efforts.
Access Project files to prepare price estimates.
Represent the company at industry events and conferences to enhance brand visibility and reputation.

4. Organizational Relationships:

Report to the Chief Executive Officer.
Collaborate closely with the technical staff.
Liaise with clients and external stakeholders to understand their needs and preferences.

5. Accountability:

You are responsible for achieving sales targets, maintaining client relationships, and upholding the company's reputation through professional conduct and adherence to policies.

6. Qualification Requirements:

Proficiency in reading and writing in English language.
Proficiency in reading and writing in Arabic language.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology field.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Previous experience in sales or marketing, preferably in the engineering or technical industry.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and events.

7. Physical Demands:

No specific gender preference.
Will involve regular interactions with clients and team members.
May require occasional travel and participation in industry events.
