Job details
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Consultant to provide expertise in the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. The consultant will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive treatment plans that address the individual needs of each patient. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits and potential for growth within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough evaluations of patients to determine their physical and functional limitations.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to diagnose complex musculoskeletal and neurological disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate physical therapy, occupational therapy, and other rehabilitation techniques.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on exercise programs, home care, and adaptive equipment to assist in their recovery.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care for patients.
- Stay current on new treatment techniques, technologies, and research in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from an accredited institution.
- Valid state medical license and board certification.
- At least 3 years of experience in a clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
