Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to manage the financial controlling function at Calo. Your mission will be to build a world-class finance operations team on a group level working across 6+ countries and counting, and working closely with the finance leadership team to drive operational efficiency across the company. Main Responsibilities

  1. Work with the Finance Operations Director to build 3 sub-functions; revenue management, accounts payable, and financial reporting & consolidation.
  2. Manage the ERP implementation process including data migration and new system setup.
  3. Manage the consolidation and financial reporting process and ensure that monthly & annual closing is timely & accurate.
  4. Build the infrastructure of financial controls, SOPs, automation tools, and policies to streamline the workflow across the function.
  5. Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement and take the lead on making those improvements.
  6. Stay up to date with new technologies and finance operations software to be used for automation and streamline workflows.
  7. Coach and develop the financial controlling team and build strong 2nd line and future leaders.
Ideal Candidate
  1. A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance plus a professional qualification; (CPA, ACCA or CMA is mandatory) for this role.
  2. 10-12 years of experience in finance operations or financial controlling role. Pre-IPO experience is highly preferred.
  3. Problem solver and change agent: You must be willing to get your hands dirty and get things done even if it’s beyond your role.
  4. Ability to analyze financial data and provide insights into the company's financial status with an eye for detail.
  5. Familiarity with ERP, cost control, and inventory management systems. Experience with SAP or MS Dynamics is highly preferred.
  6. Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with other departments within the organization as well as external stakeholders.
  7. Proven leadership skills with ability to lead a big team across different countries and set them up for success and growth.
  8. Must have a strategic mindset to participate in financial standards setting, budget preparation, and business process improvements.
