Job Description:Role: IT Buyer (Purchasing Agent)Job Location: Abu DhabiClient: Agthia GroupContract Duration: 6 months (extendable)Salary: AED 14,000 + Employment visa + Medical insurance (family)Overview: The IT Buyer plays a crucial role in the procurement of technology-related goods, services, and equipment to support the organization's IT operations.Responsibilities:Vendor Selection and Negotiation: Assess potential suppliers based on service, reliability, cost, and quality. Negotiate terms and pricing with vendors.Management of Inventory: Track IT assets, including peripherals, software licenses, and hardware. Ensure timely disposal, upgrades, and replacements of obsolete equipment.Procurement Process: Handle purchase requests from various departments and keep management informed of order progress and delivery schedules.Market Awareness and Technological Trends: Stay updated on market changes, industry trends, and emerging technologies to enhance the company's IT capabilities.Risk Evaluation and Adherence: Assess risks associated with technology purchases and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Collaboration: Work with IT teams, department heads, and stakeholders to align technology purchases with organizational goals.Skills:Technical Acumen: Understand IT products, software, and hardware; evaluate technical specifications and compatibility.Procurement Expertise: Knowledge of contract management, best practices, and procurement procedures; ability to analyze vendor proposals.Analytical Skills: Analyze pricing information, supplier performance, and market trends to optimize procurement processes.Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and vendors; collaborate with cross-functional teams.Job Details:Job Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab EmiratesCompany Industry: Food & Beverage ProductionCompany Type: Recruitment AgencyJob Role: Purchasing and ProcurementEmployment Type: ContractorNumber of Vacancies: 1
