Chief Operating Officer - Boutique Real Estate Developer

Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Operational Leadership:Oversee day-to-day operations across all divisions, including HR, IT, Development & Construction, Finance, Marketing, Customer Service, and ProcurementEnsure seamless coordination and communication between departments to achieve organizational goals.Develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiencyProject Delivery:Drive project delivery for all residential developments from planning through to completion.Oversee project management teams, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standardsManage relationships with external stakeholders, including consultants, contractors, master developers, and local authoritiesProcess Improvement:Analyze and enhance existing business processes and workflowsLead the implementation of ERP systems (Salesforce), ensuring integration and alignment with business objectivesDevelop and maintain an organizational chart that supports effective project delivery and operational managementRecruitment and Team Development:Assist with recruitment efforts to build a high-performing team capable of meeting the company's growth objectivesFoster a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and accountabilityFinancial Oversight:Work closely with the CFO to align operational activities with financial goals and targets.Monitor project budgets and financial performance, implementing corrective actions as needed to ensure financial healthQuality Assurance:Ensure all projects meet the company's quality guidelines and standards.Implement and oversee quality control processes, conducting regular audits and reviews to maintain high standardsStakeholder Management:Engage with shareholders and board members, providing regular updates on operational performance and project progressAddress and resolve any operational issues or challenges that may ariseThe Successful ApplicantExperience: Extensive experience in real estate development, ideally with a mix of large and boutique developersBackground: Strong background in development or project delivery, with comprehensive knowledge of the full project life cycleLeadership: Proven ability to manage and lead multiple departments related to project delivery and business operationsLocation Expertise: Extensive experience in the UAE, with a strong preference for Dubai experience.Skills: Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills; Arabic speaking is beneficial but not essentialAttributes: Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of driving operational efficiency and project deliveryWhat's on OfferCompetitive Compensation: Attractive salary package commensurate with experience and qualificationsCareer Growth: Opportunity to shape and lead significant real estate projects, with a clear path to further senior leadership roles.C Suite: This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced delivery or development professional to make the next step in their career and begin their journey as an influential business leaderSupportive Environment: Work within a financially stable, growth-oriented company with a collaborative and innovative cultureInfluential Role: Make a meaningful impact on the company's strategic direction and operational success
