Head of Procurement

Job Overview: Join a market-leading FMCG company in Dubai as the Head of Procurement . We are looking for an experienced professional to lead our procurement function, driving strategic initiatives that enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Oversee sourcing, vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
- Identify and drive cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and supplier management.
- Lead procurement transformation initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliable supply chains.
- Manage procurement budgets and monitor expenditures for cost optimization.
- Conduct market analysis to mitigate supply chain risks and inform decision-making.
- Perform spend analysis and financial reviews to optimize spending.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement meets operational needs.
- Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and implement sustainable procurement practices.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree with professional certifications in procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years in procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within an FMCG environment.
- Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, supply chain risk management & mitigation, and sustainability practices.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and procurement tools is preferred.
