This vacant position is for an international company opening up its third-party global outsourcing office; expected to be fully operational in Dubai October 2023! The company is one of North America's leading carriers and specializes in the transportation and logistics industry. They are growing in many areas and are searching for talented individuals to lead their team!This is an in-office, permanent, full-time role in Dubai, UAE.Position Summary:The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for providing support in the administrative and receivable/collections functional areas within the finance team. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, pays attention to details, and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Direct Report:Finance ManagerDuties & Responsibilities:Assists Team/Supervisor with general accounting administrationPerforming day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivable dataVerify discrepancies and resolve clients' billing issuesResponsible for COD payment applications & postingsFollow-up with customers for payment collectionsMonitoring and processing Accounts Receivables Cheques and EFT'sHandling all internal billingsFiling and indexing all documents physically and electronicallyPerforms clerical duties, such as maintaining filing and record systemsPrepare work with Finance Manager to produce any required ad-hoc reportsReception and managing all incoming callsOversee and monitor the corporate company processUploading invoices on customer portalResponsible for credit reference checks for customersTimely customer account reconciliations and sending updated SOA to customersResponsible to send statements and work with auditors for audit checksProvide metrics and specific reporting to senior managementQualifications/Skills:Accounting Diploma and/or two-year equivalent accounting experienceExcellent knowledge of intermediate to advanced functions in Microsoft ExcelCompetency in Microsoft applications including Word, Teams, and OutlookAttention to detail and ability to multi-taskExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsQuick learner and ability to manage multiple and competing priorities in a fast-paced work environmentKnowledge of Microdea/Synergize will be considered an assetKnowledge of TMW (Truck Mate Software) will be an assetKnowledge of QuickBooks will be considered an assetAdministrative: 2 years (Required)Collections: 2 years (Required)Accounts Receivable: 2 years (Required)UAE local experience (Required)Non-UAE experience will be considered
