Job Family: Asset Management and Marine OperationsBusiness Line: Technical & Marine ServicesDepartment: Technical & Marine ServicesClosing Date: 30-Jun-2024Your Future Role & Job PurposeJob Purpose:The role holder is responsible for supervising and guiding the Crawler Crane activities including undertaking some of the main activities to deliver high quality Lifting or transfer operations in accordance with Company Policy, Quality Safety & Environmental Management System, and International Standards.Key Accountabilities & Working RelationshipsKey Accountabilities:Read and understand lifting and rigging ops forms, lifting forms / L&R drawings/crane load charts/JSA then set up the crane and rigging arrangement accordingly.Operate the crane to execute lifting operation, crane assembly and reconfiguration under foreman supervision in line with crane operation manual, load charts, crane supervisor instruction, and approved lifting and rigging drawing.Ability to operate / assemble / reconfigure the crane according to the operation manual, under guidance of Liebherr or his company supervision.Fills out the daily operations crane checklist before any operation.Controls crane movements in response to hand signals or radio commands by certified L&R supervisors, Foremen or Riggers.Oversees the care and maintenance of crane equipment. Ensures proper licensing and inspections are kept current and coordinates the necessary maintenance and repairs of equipment with L&R supervisor and maintenance Dept.Ensure the safe and effective utilization of crane equipment.Make sure that all crane equipment is maintained in proper working order.Make sure that the required care and maintenance is accomplished on crane and crane equipment/parts.Stop unsafe lifting activity and report any potential hazards to L&R foreman, supervisor, and safety team.Support the Production & Project supervisor with planned lifting activity.Must have a proper knowledge of rigging and lifting.Provides input for daily work sheets / crane time sheet for each project.Awareness/knowledge of applicable Regulations, National and International standards.Ensuring that all requirements/documents/permits are available before executing the lift.Must be able to work in a standard field environment (being aware of your surroundings and operations going on around you, crane size and required area for lifting operation).Working Relationships:Internal Interactions:Technical & Marine Services VPTechnical & Marine Services GMHeavy logistic & Lifting & Rigging GMLifting & Rigging Engineers, supervisors, foremenExternal Interactions:HSE Dept.AMCP TeamMRO TeamNBR Vessels & Rigs project and construction managersWho We Are Looking ForEducation:Diploma Degree or Equivalent.Experience:At least 11-15 years of experience with min 5 years' experience of operating Liebherr crawler cranes.Professional Qualifications (Certifications & Accreditations):Hold valid 3rd party certificate to operate Liebherr LR-11000 (1000-ton) crawler crane and below.Hold valid KSA government driving license for public works vehicles - cranes.Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):Ability to read/follow lifting and rigging plans, proper knowledge of hand signals and rigging.Good level of English both verbal and written, maintain inspection records, filling daily checklist, timesheet, report crane breakdown codes.Ability to operate / assemble/reconfigure the crane according to the operation manual, under guidance of Liebherr or his company supervision.Experience working with Liebherr crawler crane and have basic knowledge about crane Maintenance.Good communicator.Motivated.Work well under pressure.Sociable.Multi-tasker.Good work ethic.Excellent attitude towards health and safety.Ethical.Languages:English.
