Works as a team member and subject-matter expert in the development, implementation, and evaluation of curricula. Advises Industrial Skills Trainers/Instructors I & II regarding effective training techniques.Responsible as an exemplary trainer for instructing employees and trainers in skills, techniques, methods and procedures in one or more of the following areas: maintenance, operations, technical crafts, services, safety, driving, drafting, laboratory, construction, heavy equipment, security, etc. Instructs, serves and advises all levels to other instructors and teaches high level technical courses. Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) team member during the development of curricula.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepares and maintains training materials: lesson plans, in-house quizzes, tests, trainees' records, supplies, AV equipment, tools, and training aids.Instructs trainees in complex plant systems, operations, and controls. Counsels trainees and maintains discipline for a safe and healthy work environment.Develops, conducts, and evaluates written performance tests and collects feedback.Makes recommendations on and assists in the development, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum and training aids.
