Our successful, dynamic Account Management Team in the Middle East has an open position located in Qatar.The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining deep customer relationships to drive account revenue retention and growth. By collaborating with internal partners, the Account Manager delivers outstanding service and valuable solutions. This position will lead a defined book of business or group of accounts (banks, corporates, or other financial institutions) in the territory and will be accountable for the commercial close of all deals. You will also open up larger solution opportunities and introduce Solution & Proposition Sales as well as the Customer Support department.Role Responsibilities:Demonstrate deep understanding of the customer strategy (short and long term), objectives, high knowledge of client's decision makers (including C-level), priorities, and needs.Maintain solid understanding of LSEG propositions to initiate conversations and raise interest.Build and embed a long-term trusted advisor relationship within their accounts as well as a positive relationship with client C-level and other decision makers.Build an account plan with a clear strategy (short and long term) defining specific actions for driving growth by expanding LSEG footprint.Daily update of CRM with sales activities, forecasts & pipeline.Focus on maintaining overall customer engagement and expanding and retaining managed net revenue.Lead all aspects of all commercial activities within accounts, owning the end-to-end customer relationship.Drive efficiency in account administration (especially for lower value and growth potential accounts).Manage internal and external stakeholders and maintain networks to negotiate and close deals.Account Managers for Growth accounts will handle a defined book on a proactive basis.Account Managers are responsible for revenue retention (primarily), sales, and administration of accounts.Qualifications and Experience Required:Strong understanding of customers and their business model and workflows.Industry experience within the customer segment.Strong product knowledge.Relationship building skills.Selling skills (identify, develop, and articulate a complex proposition/consultative selling).Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop and execute a sales plan, and proficiency in using a variety of technology.Problem solving—ability to understand, articulate, structure, and solve client needs.Presentation and communication skills: ability to deliver presentations and communicate at all levels within an organization.Ability to collaborate with the account team.University/college degree may be required; equivalent experience may be considered depending on position/department.Advanced degree may be preferred.Significant work experience in the applicable industry and knowledge of customer workflow required.Proven account management, sales, or marketing experience in a customer-facing environment required.Customer relationship management required throughout all levels within an organization.Why Join Us?A Diverse and Inclusive Workforce: the ability to work within a global, diverse, and inclusive company with 300 years of heritage and 25,000 people; we have a variety of Inclusion Networks that are a powerful lever of belonging, plus an Employee Referral Bonus Scheme.Constant Learning: 90 Day Sales On-Boarding Program, e-learning platform, a range of workshops, access to real-time economic data.Professional Development: Quarterly Connects to ensure you meet your Goals & Objectives.Focus on Wellbeing: A hybrid working model, we promote physical health and provide access to Mental Health Support, private medical healthcare, corporate pension plan, Daily 'Me Hour', Annual wellness allowance.Make An Impact: 2 Volunteer Days a Year to Help Make the World a Better Place, Matched Fundraising.We look forward to receiving your application for consideration in September 2024.LSEG is a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider.
