A unique and exciting opportunity within a well-established retail group based in Dubai, UAE. They are currently looking to hire a talented and creative Designer to head the Design Team for the womenswear category.For this role, you will be responsible for:Leading the design direction of the womenswear categoryDeveloping the design vision of the category and working with the Buying Team, ensuring that it is well reflected in the samples and prototypesKeeping up to date with the current trends, identifying new design opportunities and presenting them to the design teamClose monitoring of the seasons collection and advising on any adjustment if necessaryThe ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications:Degree in Fashion Design or equivalentProfessional designing experienceHigh level of creativity with a keen eye for designKnowledge in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and other digital design toolsA competitive attitude with the ability to take initiativeThe rightful candidate for this position will be rewarded with a tax-free salary package plus benefits.
