Our Construction & Real Estate client is looking for a highly motivated, innovative business development professional to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of building relationships in construction/real estate with a proven track record. The Business Development Officer is responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing relationships with clients, consultants, project managers, and stakeholders. - Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities.
  2. Create and expand the company's footprint and build positive top-of-mind awareness.
  3. Attend industry events and other meetings to stay abreast of market conditions and competition and establish relationships with existing clients and prospects.
  4. Provide ongoing progress updates on new business development activities and key indicators to the Senior management team.
  5. Coordinate and assist in the proposal process with the company's marketing and project management teams.
  6. Develop and implement strategies for new services.
  7. Determine new opportunities by analyzing business needs.
  8. Assist in the development of annual sales goals.
  9. Develop and deliver business plans through research, formulating market, and providing accurate business reports.
  10. Build referral and lead generation network.
- Qualifications:
  1. Minimum 3 years of Business Development/Sales experience, preferably with relevant experience in the construction/real estate industries.
  2. Strong client relationship management skills.
  3. Have a desire to make a significant contribution to a rapidly growing organization.
  4. Market research experience.
  5. Proven ability to work independently.
  6. A proactive self-starter who can operate individually and as part of a team.
  7. Superior presentation and excellent oral and written communication skills.
