With a keen eye for efficiency and attention to detail, our team manages the day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless coordination across various functions. From procurement and accounting to platform support and project management, our Operations Department plays a pivotal role in streamlining workflows and supporting all MAGNiTT teams. Job Description We are looking for a methodical and meticulous Accounting Analyst to support our finance team and be responsible for the company’s accounting procedures, keeping organized records, and preparing accurate and punctual financial reports. This role is varied and hands-on, and you will be an integral part of the team to ensure the timely execution of all required management reports and analyses. As such, you will be organized, confident, and able to take responsibility and use your initiative. Core Duties: Accounting:

  1. File and maintain all expense invoices, ensuring timely processing and adherence to company policies;
  2. Validate revenue invoices and conduct monthly reviews to ensure all transactions are recorded and discrepancies are resolved;
  3. Reconcile financial statements, including bank statements and internal records, to identify and resolve discrepancies;
  4. Regularly (fortnightly and monthly) update cash flow statements, profit and loss reports, and balance sheets to provide an accurate financial overview to management;
  5. Maintain and update transaction records in cost and revenue files, ensuring data integrity and accuracy for financial analysis.
Procurement:
  1. Manage the registration and onboarding process for new suppliers and clients in Xero, ensuring all required documentation is collected and verified;
  2. Maintain and update client profiles and deal information in the CRM system to support accurate tracking, making sure revenue deals match the accounting revenue files;
  3. Monitor and track key procurement metrics to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and report findings to management;
  4. Ensure monthly recurring payments are processed on time, and avoid any office service interruption;
  5. Re-stock all office supplies and consumables as required (stationery and pantry).
Job Requirements Required skills and qualifications:
  1. 5+ years of experience in accounting or related field. Experience with Procurement processes will be appreciated;
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
  3. Experience using Xero or similar cloud-based accounting system;
  4. Advanced Excel skills (most common statistical, logical, web, text, and date formulas as well as Pivot tables);
  5. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload and work to strict deadlines;
  6. Excellent ethics and cultural awareness;
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  8. Strong attention to detail and high standards for your own work;
  9. Good communication skills, both verbal and written (English).
Good to have/be:
  1. Ability to interpret and analyze financial data and trends;
  2. Proactivity and curiosity in generating insights from the financial data and highlighting it to management;
  3. Experience in data visualization and presenting data to management;
