Position: Teaching Assistant (Computer Science Majors) Department: Student Success Are you passionate about education and eager to support the next generation of computer scientists? As a Teaching Assistant at the Global Studies Institute, you will play a crucial role in assisting faculty and supporting students, guiding them toward success in their academic and career pursuits. Key Responsibilities:

Assist faculty with preparing and delivering high-quality computer science courses.
Support the development and implementation of a comprehensive curriculum covering key computer science topics.
Create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Provide one-on-one guidance and support to address individual student needs and challenges.
Assist in administering practice tests and assessments to evaluate student progress.
Help analyze assessment results to identify areas of improvement and develop tailored study plans.
Maintain a well-organized and conducive classroom environment.
Manage classroom activities, materials, and resources efficiently.
Maintain open and effective communication with students.
Provide regular progress reports to students and faculty as needed.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in computer science education.
Participate in ongoing training and development.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Teaching certificate or degree in education is preferred but not required.
Significant experience in a teaching or tutoring role, preferably with computer science students.
Must currently reside in Qatar and hold a valid Qatari ID.

Proficiency in computer science topics and educational strategies.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Effective classroom management and student engagement techniques.
Analytical skills to assess student performance and adapt teaching methods.
