We are looking for a Junior Safety Trainer who will be responsible in delivering comprehensive safety training programs. Also, assisting in the development of course materials required for customized trainings. The primary focus of this is on educating training attendees about best practices, regulations, and procedures related to safety in the workplace. Responsibilities Delivering training sessions to the company's clients, these sessions could be in-person, online, or a combination of both. Ensure that the training content is presented clearly and engagingly, fostering a positive learning environment. Conducting and assist in demonstrations and practical exercises that allow participants to apply safety. Address participant questions, provide clarifications, and ensure a thorough understanding of safety concepts and practices. Conduct training sessions in a clear, organized, and professional manner, using a variety of instructional techniques to ensure training attendees understanding. Adjust training content and delivery style based on the participants' background, experience, and learning pace. Assist senior trainers or training managers develop training materials, presentations, and resources that cover various safety topics. This may involve researching regulations, industry standards, and best practices to create effective training content. Tailor training materials and content to align with the client's specific requirements and industry regulations as per company's instruction. Stay updated on safety regulations, industry trends, and effective training methodologies to enhance training delivery. Contribute to the continuous improvement of training content based on participant feedback, industry developments, and training effectiveness Ensure to follow company's training protocols/ SOP. Organizing and setting up training venues, equipment, and materials to ensure smooth training delivery. Follow the training trackers on time and coordinate with the training coordinator for the timely delivery of the training programs. Follow-up on training session's dates and venue. Assisting the training coordinator to coordinate with the site and location. Make sure that all the trainings courses delivered are done and in line with the standards as set by the company. Arriving early, setting up the training area to our high standards. Make sure all delegates paper work is filled and sent to the training coordinator in a timely manner. Pass if any sales enquiries quickly efficiently to the sales representative. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Train the Trainer Certificate will be an added advantage Proven experience at least 2 years in delivering training either in house or Third Party will be an advantage Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety Thorough knowledge of health and safety laws Strong passion for safety education and training Able to multitask, prioritize, manage time efficiently, eager to learn and adaptive and flexible attitude Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
