Stage merchandise by department mark appropriately forplacement in facility and deliver merchandise to appropriatedepartment. Verify and track received inventory and completeinventory reports and logs. Reconcile shipping invoices andreceiving reports to ensure count accuracy. Receive store ship anddeliver incoming and outgoing department packages and mail. Securethe receiving room and its contents ensuring safekeeping ofpackages. Follow all national state and local hazardous materialshipping guidelines and regulations. Ship all outgoing mail andpackages. Verify quantity and condition of packages upon receiptprior to delivery to guest. Communicate with guest regardingreceived packages. Maintain accurate tracking system on allshipping and receiving transactions including receiving guestsignatures for received packages. Communicate with propermanagement regarding any loss or damage withpackages. Reportaccidents injuries and unsafe work conditions to manager; completesafety training and certifications. Follow all company policies andprocedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean andprofessional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information;protect company assets. Address guests service needs in aprofessional positive and timely manner. Speak with others usingclear and professional language; answer telephones usingappropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive workingrelationships with others. Read and visually verify information ina variety of formats (e.g. small print). Visually inspect toolsequipment or machines (e.g. to identify defects). Move lift carrypush pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50pounds without assistance. Grasp turn and manipulate objects ofvarying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and handeyecoordination. Move through narrow confined or elevated spaces. Moveover sloping uneven or slippery surfaces as well as up and downstairs and/or service ramps. Reach overhead and below the kneesincluding bending twisting pulling and stooping. Perform otherreasonable job duties as requested bySupervisors.PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONSEducation: High school diploma orG.E.D. equivalent.Related Work Experience: Norelated work experience.Supervisory Experience:No supervisory experience.License orCertification: NoneMarriottInternational is an equal opportunity employer.
