Job OverviewWe are looking for a dedicated individual tojoin us as a Commis You will be reporting to the Demi Chef dePartie and assisting the team with various food You should be ableto gather ingredients and measure them correctly before every foodAlso, you should be able to assist with mise preparation andchopping & seasoning of Your jobresponsibilities will also include taking a stock of the inventoryMoreover, you should be able to organize and label food items As aCommis Chef, you should adhere to the industry standards and followexcellent hygiene practices at all To be able toperform in this job role, you should be familiar with various foodpreparation techniques and kitchen Furthermore, you should be ableto work at flexible shifts and have a detail-oriented A candidatepossessing excellent communication and listening skills will beGet in touch with us if you will be able to takeup the job We would love to hear from ResponsibilitiesAssisting and taking instructionsfrom the Demi Chef de Partie Gathering andaccurately measuring all food ingredientsWashing, peeling, and chopping vegetables andfruits Cutting and seasoning different meatsPreparing basic dishes such as salads andsauces Keeping a track of the inventorysupplies Ensuring that the food items arestocked properly in refrigerators and freezersMaintaining proper hygiene standards andensuring that the workstation remains clean at all timesPlating various menu itemsAccepting deliveries of food items andmaintaining a stock record of the sameDisposing spoiled food items and expiredproducts RequirementsDiploma or a Bachelor's degree inF&B ProductionProven work experience as aCommis Chef, Chef, Prep Cook , or a similar role in the Hospitalityindustry Complete knowledge of the industry sbest practices, hygiene, and safety standardsFamiliarity with various food preparationtechniques and kitchen equipment Excellenthygiene standards Good time management andorganizational skills Strong communication andlistening skills Ability to multitask andprioritize tasks Ability to work at flexiblehours and on weekends A team player as well asable to work independently Having an eye fordetail Ability to offer excellent guestservice INT
