Based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), you will oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance, repair, and compliance to maintain the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Your expertise in fleet management and preventive maintenance will be crucial in supporting our operational goals and delivering exceptional service to our clients.Key Responsibilities:Oversee Fleet Maintenance Operations:Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program for our fleet of trucks, including preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.Ensure all maintenance activities are performed efficiently and within budget.Manage Repair and Maintenance:Supervise and coordinate all repair and maintenance work, ensuring it is carried out to the highest standards and in compliance with safety regulations.Diagnose mechanical issues and oversee timely and effective repairs to minimize downtime.Ensure Regulatory Compliance:Ensure all vehicles meet regulatory requirements and industry standards, including regular inspections, certifications, and documentation.Keep up-to-date with changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.Monitor Fleet Performance:Track and analyze fleet performance metrics, including fuel efficiency, maintenance costs, and vehicle uptime.Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and optimize fleet operations.Manage Maintenance Team:Recruit, train, and lead a team of skilled mechanics and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work.Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.Coordinate with Operations:Work closely with the operations team to ensure maintenance schedules align with operational needs and minimize disruptions.Communicate effectively with drivers to ensure timely reporting and resolution of vehicle issues.Implement Safety Programs:Develop and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for the maintenance team and drivers.Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to promote a culture of safety within the organization.Maintain Inventory and Budget:Manage inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels to support maintenance activities.Monitor maintenance expenditures and manage the budget to achieve cost-effective fleet operations. QualificationsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, automotive technology, or a related field.Minimum 10 years of experience in fleet maintenance management in the trucking or logistics industry.Proven track record of managing large fleets and ensuring high standards of vehicle maintenance and compliance.Strong technical knowledge of truck mechanics, diagnostics, and repair techniques.Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a maintenance team.Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.Proficient in using maintenance management software and digital tools.Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in fleet maintenance.Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and a commitment to operational excellence.Additional InformationJoin a trailblazing startup and contribute to the transformation of the Saudi Arabian logistics landscape.
