We are urgently looking for QUANTITY SURVEYOR to join our team.
We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction quantity surveying, with a keen eye for detail and excellent analytical skills. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the financial management of construction projects, ensuring cost efficiency and adherence to budgets.
Responsibilities:
Conducting cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and preparing tender documents.
Analyzing construction plans and specifications to determine project costs.
Evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure competitiveness and accuracy.
Collaborating with project managers to develop budgets and monitor project expenditure.
Performing cost control and value engineering to optimize project costs.
Managing variations and claims throughout the project lifecycle.
Providing regular reports on project financial performance.
Conducting cost analysis and risk assessment.
Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve financial issues.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost control techniques.
Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Professional accreditation (e.g., RICS) is preferred but not required.
