Discover the life that awaits you at Accor, visit https://careers.accor.com/Do what you love, care for the world, dare to challenge the status quo! #BELIMITLESSJob DescriptionResponsible for:Ensuring promptness, freshness, and quality of dishes.Coordinating cooks' tasks.Implementing hygiene policies and examining equipment for cleanliness.Designing new recipes, planning menus, and selecting plate presentations.Reviewing staffing levels to meet service, operational, and financial objectives.Hiring and training kitchen staff, such as cooks, food preparation workers, and dishwashers.Performing administrative tasks, taking stock of food and equipment supplies, and doing purchase orders.Setting and monitoring performance standards for staff.Obtaining feedback on food and service quality, and handling guest problems and complaints.Job PurposeOversees the daily operations of restaurant and hotel kitchens. This may include hiring, training, and overseeing kitchen staff, and ensuring a high-quality, cost-effective product. Also known a chef manager or head chef.Key AccountabilitiesPlan and direct food preparation and culinary activities.Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards.Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs.Supervise kitchen staff's activities.Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs.Recruit and manage kitchen staff.QualificationsExtensive experience in a senior leadership role, with a successful track record in driving growth, achieving operational and commercial excellence, and delivering financial results.Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the capability to anticipate and proactively manage challenges.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring and leading diverse teams.Unwavering integrity, with a commitment to ethical practices and sound corporate governance.Entrepreneurial spirit, with a drive for innovation and a readiness to take calculated risks10 Years Experience in the same role is required
