We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Elevator Troubleshooter to join our dynamic team in Doha, Qatar.
Job Description:
Position Summary:The Senior Elevator Troubleshooter will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining elevator systems to ensure their optimal performance and safety. This role requires extensive technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. The successful candidate will play a critical role in minimizing downtime and ensuring the safe operation of elevator systems across various locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform thorough diagnostic evaluations to identify and resolve complex elevator malfunctions and issues.
Conduct routine maintenance checks and repairs on elevator systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components.
Respond promptly to emergency service calls to troubleshoot and repair elevators in a timely and efficient manner.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance and repair activities.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians and assist in their training and development.
Maintain detailed records of service activities, including maintenance logs, repair reports, and parts inventory.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in elevator technology and industry best practices.
Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in elevator maintenance or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in elevator maintenance and troubleshooting.
In-depth knowledge of elevator systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Excellent understanding of safety regulations and protocols related to elevator maintenance and repair.
Ability to work independently and make informed decisions under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Physical ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
Preferred Qualifications:
Working experience in trouble shooting of Elevators likeThyssenkrupp, OTIS, KONE, Misubishi, Schindler
Experience working in a multicultural environment.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment specific to elevator maintenance.
