Join ourServices_EMEA team within Services division in Qatar as Field Service Engineer (compressors) to help us take Services Middle Eastto the next level. Sulzer Middle East is looking for a field service engineer, with strong experience of centrifugal compressors responsible for the overhaul, repair, installation & commissioning of rotating equipment to support our clients based in Qatar. The Main responsibilities entails: Provision of safe and effective site and workshop overhaul, repair, installation and commissioning services for all rotating equipment Be the first point of contact for allocated customers in respect of any issues relating to agreed on-site scopes of work Develop strong relationships with key client contacts Be responsible for on-site Health & Safety Compile on-site Risk Assessments for scopes of work. Lead and supervise on-site repair teams during site contract execution. Provide continuous improvement in repair, installation and commissioning activities Develop and maintain good and effective relationships with clients to optimise further service opportunities Liaise with technical departments within Sulzer to develop engineering solutions Manage relevant suppliers and subcontractors Compilation of comprehensive site reports in line with company quality management system Participate and actively support company initiatives To succeed in this role, you will need: Engineering technical qualification 10 years' experience of installation and commissioning activity related to centrifugal compressors and other rotating equipment Experience of assembly, operation and testing of compressors and other rotating equipment Experience working in the Middle East Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings and data.
