Serving our customers through diverse business segments, we offer challenging assignments on some of the world's largest and most complex projects where our clients have come to value us because We DeliverPOSITIION DESCRIPTION As a Chief Technical Advisor in Olefins System in the Saudi Technology Center you will be part of a process engineering team to provide plant technical lifecycle support from Basic engineering to plant operation. You will meet directly with the client, handle interdisciplinary meetings and information transfer and provides licensee feedback to improve KBR Olefins technology. Your work will involve conventional engineering and operation practice but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design and operation requirements, and difficult coordination requirements. Must be willing and available to travel domestically and internationally.REQUIREMENTSBachelor's or advanced degree in Chemical Engineering requiredMinimum of 15+ yrs CURRENT experience in Olefins Process systems design, optimization and/or operation, with average experience of 20+ yrs experienceDesign or operations background in Ethylene is preferred experience in other Petrochemical processes is a plusHigh level of proficiency P&ID development, Hydraulic calculations, and line sizing requiredExperience in application of advanced process systems design techniques to develop and optimize process designs is a plusProficiency in conceptual development of process designs, basic economic evaluations, Process Flow Diagrams, P&IDs, equipment capacity evaluation and specification requiredAbility to provide supervision to less experience engineers requiredAbility to develop new engineering ideas and concepts neededStrong English verbal, writing and reading communication skills requiredMust have the ability to clearly convey technical concepts and principles in both verbal and written communications to clients, peers and KBR managementMust be willing and available to travel domestic and international, as neededAbility to lead process engineering team on a basic engineering technology project
