Consumer Electronics (FMCG) General Manager(GM) Qatar | QAR 35,000 - QAR 60,000 / month Guildhall, the regionsbest rated Executive Search Firm is currently looking for ConsumerGoods General Manager for a Multinational Company based inQatar.The successful candidate will be responsible for managingexisting brands, as well as developing new brands and complementarybusiness lines. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 20 yearsof experience in handling operations of home appliances, consumerelectronics, IT, mobile, etc., in a trading and distributionenvironment, with a minimum of 5 years in the role of Assistant orGeneral Manager with independent P&L responsibility.KeyResponsibilities:• Channel management, including organizedretail (OR), individual channel (IR), B2B/institution business, andbrand shop.• Principal management• Planningpurchases with rolling forecast• Product launch,placement, promotion, and pricing• Planning and executionof annual/monthly budgets• Managing overall P&Lfor the business, tracking budget month-wise, and reporting toCEO/CBDO• Accountability for profitability, inventorymanagement, planning promotion and distribution management,service, logistics, and support functions like finance, HR,etc.• Maintaining market share as per guidelines acrosschannels• Stock purchase, inventory, debtor, and overallworking capital management• All marketing activitiesincluding ATL/BTL• Managing key client relationships andproviding excellent service support• Mapping allcompetitive activities within accounts to manage set goals andcompetition brand information on prices and offers• Newbrand and business development• Cordial trade relationshipwith all partnersQualifications, Experience, &Skills:• Graduate with a minimum of 20 years'experience in handling operations of home appliances, consumerelectronics, IT, mobile, etc., in a trading and distributionenvironment, with a minimum of 5 years in the role of Assistant orGeneral Manager with independent P&Lresponsibility• High networking skills and the capabilityto build and expand business portfolios by bringing new brands andcomplementary businesses• Previous experience working inQatar preferred• Master's degree in managementfrom a reputed institute preferred• Ability to workindependently and build effective teams• Discipline andpunctuality, able to meet deadlines• Excellent networkingcapabilities and oral and written communication skills•Experience in spreadsheets working• Principal managementexperienceIf you meet the qualifications and experiencerequirements listed above and are interested in joining amultinational company in Qatar, please apply with your CV and coverletter.
