Job details
Responsiblity:Prepare reports, designs, anddrawings.Make calculations about pressures,loads, and stresses.Consider the strength ofconstruction materials and selectappropriately.Provide technical advice on safedesigns and construction.Obtain planningand/or building regulations approval.Analyzeconfigurations of the basic components of astructure.Liaise with professional staff suchas architects and engineers.Monitor andinspect all work undertaken by contractors to ensure structuralsoundness.Administer contracts and manageprojects.Inspect properties to evaluate theconditions and foundations.Use computer-aideddesign technology for simulationpurposes.
