About the role As a Senior Technical SEO Officer, you will be responsible to assist line manager and department in optimizing the QR website and online presence for organic search. Also responsible for conducting technical audits, implementing SEO best practices, monitoring and reporting on SEO performance and collaborating with other teams to ensure alignment of SEO goals and strategies. Other operational duties would include Responsible to check the site speed, mobile-friendliness, canonicalization, redirection, schema mark-up and other technical SEO factors to ensure user friendly website experience. Fix any crawlability and indexation issues, such as robots.txt, sitemap, noindex and hreflang errors by using SEO tools ensuring effective website functionality. Analyse the website traffic, rankings and conversions using various SEO tools and analytics platforms. Generate content ideas and updating existing content based on keyword research and SEO best practices. Communicate with developers, content writers, Analytics and Product teams and other stakeholders to ensure SEO integration and alignment. Staying updated on latest SEO trends, algorithms, and best practices. Networking with partners and industry experts to open up collaborative opportunities. Assist line manager in response to any emergency or a major operational disruption affecting Qatar Airways or its subsidiaries, including support of the Qatar Airways Special Assistance Program. Help, manage online marketing agencies, which may be employed to support Qatar Airways. Perform post-implementation monitoring & analysis of actual benefits vs. the investment to ensure ROI. Provide assistance to the teams in execution of RFI, RFP and Contracting procedure. PPerform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department. rovide assistance to the line manager in preparation of business cases and justification. Create and facilitate the necessary documentation and report to manage investment and returns. Estimate the cost and time required for technical SEO projects and tasks. Qualifications About You Bachelors Degree in computer science, marketing, or related field 5+ years of experience in technical SEO, preferably in the travel or aviation industry Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages and tools Expertise in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Moz, Adobe Experience Manager etc Analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to provide data-driven insights and recommendation Communication and presentation skills, with ability to explain complex technical concepts to nontechnical audience
