Job Description:Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Executive Director - Operahouse to join our team! The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management, construction, and stakeholder engagement to ensure the successful delivery of the project within scope, budget, and timeline.What You'll Be Doing:Lead the overall project planning, execution, and delivery of the stadium construction project from inception to completion, including site selection, design development, permitting, and construction phases.Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.Coordinate and manage the efforts of internal project teams, external consultants, contractors, and vendors to achieve project milestones and deliverables.Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards throughout the construction process.Proactively identify and address project risks, issues, and challenges, developing and implementing effective mitigation strategies as needed.Facilitate regular project meetings, workshops, and reviews with key stakeholders to provide updates, gather feedback, and make informed decisions.Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and strategic goals.Prepare and present project status reports, executive summaries, and presentations to client management teams as required.Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and knowledge sharing among project team members and stakeholders.Monitor project performance metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and financial indicators, analyzing trends and variances to identify areas for improvement and optimization.Conduct post-project evaluations and lessons learned sessions to capture best practices, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous process improvement.Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project team members, fostering their professional growth and development.Plans, directs, supervises, and controls the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned program, project, or subtask.What Required Skills You'll Bring:Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field; Master's degree preferred.Minimum of 25 years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 10 years in senior leadership roles overseeing large-scale construction project such as an operahouse or largescale event centre.Proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.Ability to demonstrate involvement on a sports or entertainment project from commencement date to handover/ project completion.Minimum Clearance Required to Start:Not Applicable/NoneParsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
