Job Summary :

Prepares safety regulations and rules and develops safe work methods and safety equipment. Develops and recommends safety inspection and training programs, coordinates programs with personnel in operating departments, and participates in their implementation.

Roles & Responsibilities :

Participates in preparing safety inspection programs for facilities equipment, work methods and practices at operation sites. Participates in regular inspection and checking of safety practices and precautions.

Drafts and develops safety regulations and manuals and coordinates their implementation with Managers and engineers of other departments. Submits recommendations on safety work methods and equipment for review and approval.

Renewal of Civil Defense Licenses and follow up with other departments to control and manage the tasks and risks

Selects and develops such training aids as fire training handbooks, demonstration models and multi-visual aids, etc., for training purposes on fire protection and fighting methods. Utilizes training methods, such as individual coaching, group instruction, training lectures, practical demonstrations and fire drills for covering the training programs for fire protection and fighting.

Designs and prepares tender specifications for the construction, modification and maintenance of new or existing firefighting facilities, such as hydrants, sprinkler systems, etc. Includes carrying out field surveys and inspecting maintenance records.

Participates in planning safety-training programs, including interpretation of regulations and manuals, orientation of employees on new or revised safe work methods and equipment, accident prevention and first aid.

Studies and advises on safety measures or requirements involved in their designs for new facilities or equipment.

Assists to investigate and analyze accidents and safety problems, determine causes, and recommends appropriate measures to prevent recurrence of such accidents.

Contacts and coordinates with departments to implement safety rules and regulations to implement safety rules and regulations, safe work practices, safety appliances and equipment, safe operation, training and inspection programs and safety campaign activities. Advises departments concerned on safety problems and safety requirements to be included in service contracts. Specifies safety regulations to be observed by contractors, and coordinates solutions to related problems with Company personnel and contractors.
