  • Fixed-term contract to 30th June 2025 - Based in Seven Hills.
  • Full-time or part-time options are available.
  • 5 weeks annual leave & opportunity for 9 days a fortnight.

We are an enthusiastic, fun-loving team of early childhood professionals focusing on providing a high-quality, best-practice service within the NDIS partners in the community approach to children and families. We seek to expand our team of allied health professionals to join us in the emerging pathway of Early Support.

The skills and experience we are looking for include:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology.
  • Current registration with SPA or AHPRA.
  • Minimum 3 years experience working in allied health with a paediatric caseload.
  • A strong understanding of early childhood development and the ability to use this knowledge to coach & upskill families in an individualised way – one size does not fit all.
  • In-depth knowledge of 0-9-year-old developmental milestones & the impact of disability and developmental delay to engage with families & children.
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills & the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary, key worker framework to ensure holistic, quality early interventions for families.
  • Developed an understanding of best practice guidelines and principles in early childhood intervention.
  • Experience working alongside families to determine the support and connections they require to achieve their child’s individualised goals.
  • Experience providing support & therapy to families using a strengths-based, coaching approach that values the child’s natural environments.
  • A desire to drive and improve service delivery to best impact the journey of families and staff.
  • Demonstrated experience providing clinical mentoring and support to staff.
  • Experience working with the NDIS scheme is desirable.
  • You will be supporting staff locally and potentially in regional areas. Some state travel may be required.

Other requirements include:

  • Current Driver's Licence.
  • Valid Working with Children’s Check Clearance.
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDIS WC) or willingness to obtain.
