Responsibilities:
- Lead the site staff in the relevant discipline and assures their adequate performance.
- Played the role as the technical advisor to the Engineer/the Employer in the relevant discipline.
- Managing work quality according to project contract, specification, approved shop drawing and QMS Procedures.
- Reviewandapprove theshopdrawings,materials andothersubmittals from the Contractor and other involved parties.
- Review the contractor'simplementationand Constructionplansand closely monitor its proper implementation.
- Co-ordinate and closely follow-up withtheContractor'stechnicalteamto expediteanydrawings revision and submission.
- Control closely the Contractor’s Work program submitted by the Contractor and notify the Engineer /the Employer about any slippage or delays with the recommendations for mitigation.
- Monitor andexpedite contractor'sprocurementofmaterialand equipment. Report to the Engineer/ the Employer any delays that may occur.
- Participate inanymodificationchangesthatmayoccurduringprojectperiod, evaluateitsimpacton thesystem,andprovideacceptableoperationalsolutions.
- Attending the Weekly meetings between contractor, consultant and the Client and arranging meetings with the contractor at the Site.
- Be proactive in resolving anyanticipatedproblemsthatmayoccuron site.
- Monitor andexpedite contractor'sprocurementofmaterialand equipment. Reportto Managementfor anydelaysand criticalitems.
- Monitor, supervise and expedite the contractor’s methods of exercising the testing and commissioning procedures and their records.
- Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline. 15 -20 years’ experience minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position dealing with PMC/ Engineer / Employer.
- Proven previous experience in infrastructureis a MUST.
- AUTOCAD, Microsoft Office
- Working proficiency in English language is mandatory; Arabic is a plus.
