Job Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager specializing in Welding Equipment to join our team. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for effectively leading and managing a team of sales professionals, developing and executing sales strategies, and achieving sales targets within their designated area.
Job Responsibility:
  • Lead a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to help them achieve their individual sales targets
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans to effectively penetrate the market and grow sales of welding equipment
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and customers within the welding equipment industry
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the designated area, including expanding the customer base and securing new accounts
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing and operations, to ensure smooth execution of sales plans and customer satisfaction
  • Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for business growth
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements and developments in the welding equipment industry, ensuring a high level of product knowledge and expertise
Candidate Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Area Sales Manager with a focus on welding equipment or a Gas industry
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a sales team
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients and customers.
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
  • Knowledge of the welding equipment market and industry trends
  • Ability to analyze market data and identify opportunities for business growth
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the designated area to meet with clients and customers
