Location Ras Alkhair (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) OVERALL JOB PURPOSE: Improve technology, technology application and integration for more than one technology and/or a lead role within area of expertise/or portfolio of projects (Operating level: Tactical) KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Self & team consistently meets targets, due dates and quality standards (production, service, advice, etc.)2. Achieve Quality targets by consistently reducing all non-value-adding work 3. Cost target achievement by consistently improving team productivity 4. All Plans and team objectives consistently executed and achieved in a safe working environment 5. Productivity target achievement 6. Achievement of Saudization targets 7. Play a lead role for a portfolio of projects 8. Solve problems involving multiple stakeholders (e.g. on related Affiliate level and impact value chains)9. Identify, priorities, and select stakeholder needs in order to set specific technical requirements (involves pre-empting known and unknown)10. Translate stakeholders needs/wants into specific technical deliverables 11. Improve technology application and integration 12. Independent idea generation within multi-disciplines/multi-affiliate (strategic impact)13. Develop work processes and implement actions to improve the multi discipline's and/or industry performance 14. Define, interpret, defend and approve quality standards, specifications and technical requirements 15. Ensure quality of a function's technical delivery by the review and sign off of multi-disciplinary technical work. 16. Take decisions which optimize total cost of ownership 17. Balance cost, schedule, quality as per risk level 18. Take accountability for risk decisions through appropriate evaluation and risk mitigation practices 19. Develop and review policies, procedures and methods and develop where necessary; apply policies with discretion 20. Ensure that the quality of decision making with regards to projects are high 21. Solve problems on affiliate level and impact related affiliate by enhancing meaningful steps (define, defend, enhance)22. Verify quality of group delivery; manage junior staff 23. Continuously research the field of expertise to develop the area with the company; improve technology application and integration 24. Conduct Research & Development that leads to new solutions being implemented in the Affiliate. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's of Engineering (Specific discipline) + 4 years as Lead Engineer Master of Engineering (Specific discipline) + 2 years as Lead Engineer Experience: 15 years' experience as Engineer (subject to qualification) International Experience Preferred. Skills: 1.Expert in analysis and modelling of engineering components, systems, processes 2. Effective leadership and management skills 3. Ability to deal with unknown, combine unrelated data and information to create new insight 4. Expert discipline knowledge 5. Strategic thinking 6. Design thinking 7. Expert knowledge of technical trends, interpretation and application of industry knowledge 8. Effective leadership and management skills 9. Creating and innovating 11.
