Overview

We are seeking a Process Engineer specializing in NGL Fractionation to join Ras Tanura Engineering Department (RTRED).

RTRED under the Global Manufacturing provides specialized and timely operations and process engineering support to all process technologies operated on both wholly-owned and affiliates' refining and chemicals operating facilities, collectively known as Saudi Aramco Global Manufacturing.

Your primary role will be to drive manufacturing excellence across the portfolio and ensure process technologies are operated in a safe, reliable, and cost-effective manner through high-quality specialized technical support, troubleshooting, process unit performance monitoring, best practices exchange, value creation, and benchmarking.

Key Responsibilities

As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:

Review and monitor the performances of existing process units through key performance indicators (KPIs) representing the process plant's optimum operability, profitability, reliability, and process safety. Issue performance benchmarking reports for each unit highlighting the KPIs, analysis, and performance improvement recommendations.

Monitor and support the facilities in implementing the recommendations and closing the gaps identified in the performance benchmarking reports.

Conduct benchmarking and best practices exchange workshops for each process technologies through Community of Practices (CoPs) internally among Global Manufacturing facilities (wholly-owned and affiliates) having similar process technologies. Issue technical best practices bulletin summarizing the outcome of each workshops.

Provide on-demand remote and/or field technical support to Global Manufacturing facilities on matters concerning the operation of process technologies, which may include but not limited to, process troubleshooting, start-up and shutdown activities support, capacity test runs, technology pilot testing, and process design. Issue service report for every support activity provided highlighting the facilities need, actions taken, results, and lessons learned.

In collaboration with Global Manufacturing facilities engineers, propose cost optimization or process improvement initiatives focusing on 'low-hanging fruits' with no or minimal capital investment required, through operational adjustment or design modification.

Act as the Admin Area overall coordinator for cascading and driving Global Manufacturing and Corporate programs (concerning the process units) to the operating facilities for execution and effective monitoring.

Recommend and coordinate proven technology deployments in process units. Liaise with Global Manufacturing Excellence-Manufacturing Technical Support Division and Engineering Services for any technology assessment and piloting support.

Education & Experience Requirements

You must hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized and approved program. An advanced degree is preferred.

You should have a minimum of 10 years of total NGL/LPG process units experience (process engineering and operations).

Exposure to different licensor technologies for gas processing and NGL Fractionation is a plus.
