Bachelor of Technology/Engineering(Chemical, Mechanical) Nationality Any Nationality Vacancy 1 Vacancy Job Description Location: Dammam Job Title: COO KSA & Bahrain Job Code: Major Objectives of the Job: Overall Operational responsibility of Industrial & Energy Division s business in KSA & Bahrain. Manage and control the division s diverse business activities in Machinery distribution, Leasing and Energy Products & Services. particularly to include the achievement of revenue/profit objectives, implementation of agreed staff structures, enforcement of policies and procedures and the execution of business plans in collaboration with the business unit General Managers. The position will contribute to the transformation process of the division from trading into more of services and local value addition as one of the key objectives thus developing a sustainable business model going forward. The Key responsibilities would include but not limiting to the following: • Design, plan and implement business objectives and procedures. • Set comprehensive goals for business growth and success. • Establish policies and procedures that promote company culture and vision. • Oversee daily operations and the work of executives. • Lead employees with an example • Evaluate performance by Analyzing and interpreting data and metrics. • Create reports for the CEO and the Executive Committee • Take the lead in business expansion activities and assist CEO in implementing Strategic plans for the Business divisions. • Maintain relationships with partners and vendors. Reporting Relationships: Reporting To: CEO Industrial & Energy Reported By: Divisional General Managers /Country Managers/ Support function Managers Working Relationships: Customers: Internal Support function Departments External All the Oil & Gas companies in UAE & Oman, Power/Gas Sectors, Private Industries Suppliers: Principals and the local sub-contractors for LSTK jobs. Main Responsibilities (In summary; a full job description may also be attached ) Key Result Areas * Key Performance Indicators Accountability & Reporting Method Strategic Implementation of strategic business plan Semi Annual Appraisal Monthly Progress Report Financial Achievement of Revenue and profit Objectives Quarterly review with Ex-Committee. Monthly performance report YOY Profit improvement Annual review. Yearly Budgets Positive Cash contribution to the group through focussed management of stocks and receivables Annual performance review. Monthly reports on stocks and debtors. Customers & Market Develop close working relationship with the senior Management team of key accounts as well as key principals/Business partners Annual Reviews. Visit reports to customers/Principals Expansion of business New Business/offerings/Regions Annual review - percentage increase in revenue from new areas. Quarterly reports on new developments Operation & Innovation Continuous evaluation of key processes relative to Industry best Practices. • Planning & Budgeting • Workforce Management • Operations • Customer satisfaction • Staff performance review Periodic Reviews and process change reports. People & Growth Succession Planning for Key Positions Maintain prescribed localization percentage for local staffs in each of the countries of operation. Annual performance review. Retain and attract local talents. Authority: Adequate Authority as per the Company guidelines. Competencies Required: Qualification Bachelor Degree in Mechanical /Chemical Engineering. With a minimum of 15 year + experience in providing products and services into the Core sector Industries covering Oil & Gas, Power & utility, Construction, manufacturing, in a leadership position within the GCC region. Should have been in a operational leadership position in a diverse business environment for more than 10 years. KSA experience would be preferred. Competence Be competent in all aspects of running a large independent profit centre with diverse business activities. Company Industry
