Spanish multinational construction company specialized in fit-out is looking for a Planning and Cost Control Manager to join the team from our Riad offices. Some of the main tasks and responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop, implement, feed, reconcile and maintain valuable project control databases and reports for projects.
  • Overview and support the development of several projects at the same time from the perspective of architectural planning and cost controlling.
  • Develop the procedure for measuring and monitoring the progress of projects, ensuring compliance with the applicable methodology.
  • Monitor several projects progress against the program baseline, detecting deviations and calculating completion dates of planned works.
  • Advise the Operations Manager on time impacts of change requests.
  • Produce forecast schedules on regular basis.
  • Define preventive and/or corrective actions.
  • Manage project changes, from a scheduling standpoint, to minimize their effect on the overall project schedule.
  • Oversee and validate schedules made by third parties so that they meet the project objectives.
Job Requirements
  • University Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or similar.
  • >10 years of experience in similar functions.
  • Fluent in English (C1 level or above).
  • Proven experience in significant fit-out projects is a must to be considered.
  • Resolute, organized, and dynamic person, who likes to work in a team.
  • Tools: Planning (Primavera P6 or MS Project), ERP (Navision, Business Central...) and advanced Excel.
  • Knowledge in management and control of construction projects: scope, planning, changes, purchases, negotiations, risks, stakeholders, etc.
  • Strong communication skills, leadership and teamwork.
