What you’ll achieve As a Service Delivery Engineer, you will provide world-class delivery support to our customers by building an in-depth knowledge of our customers’ priorities and initiatives and becoming a subject matter expert that avoids customer impact and facilitates continuous improvement. You will identify potential sales and growth opportunities and will partner with key stakeholders to maximize these prospects. You will:- Coordinate the activities of technical solution team members to meet contract obligations, ensuring that full life cycle delivery costs are within the service level agreement.
- Develop and maintain direct customer and broader service delivery relationships. Maintain awareness of all service matters and manage customer during high priority escalations.
- Assist in implementing delivery management process improvements. Proactively identify potential issues and drive resolution to avoid customer impact; facilitating continuous improvement.
- Target opportunities for growth within the customer environment.
- Should have strong organizing and planning skills to oversee and efficiently implement program deliverables. 8 to 12 years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation and organizational skills with strong priority setting and delegation skills.
- Preferred experience in implementation of Dell infrastructure products and solutions, Backup Systems, Data Protection, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Data Migration, Data Storage Solutions, Storage Area Network (SAN), Unstructured Data Solutions (UDS), CI/HCI systems, Dell Servers, and Networking solutions.
- Preferred skills in Operating Systems, Windows, Unix, VMware, Shell scripting and Networking. Preferred knowledge in databases, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server
