JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections on Boeing 787 aircraft and other fleet type in the company as required, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, carry out scheduled and unscheduled aircraft, engine, component maintenance and structural repairs compliant to the approved manufacturers documentation whilst observing all company safety procedures. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Supervise a team of Technicians and Mechanics performing Line Maintenance on our aircraft.
  • Inspection and certification of scheduled maintenance tasks, defect rectification, modifications, structural repairs and functional tests on Airframe, Engine and Electrical systems.
  • Complete all assigned work in a timely manner to optimize aircraft downtime.
  • Ensure aircraft technical logbook, maintenance documentation, job cards, work packages and zonal handovers are completed accurately and within prescribed timescales.
  • Maintain a high standard of husbandry and cleanliness within assigned work areas.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company processes and procedures.
  • Promote a just culture and report all incidents and occurrences in the Safety Management System.
  • Highlight any technical issues, discrepancies, or other issues to the Duty Manager.
  • Support the Duty Manager with the day to day running of their allocated aircraft and be able to deputize during periods of absence.
  • Actively support, promote, and contribute to continuous improvement ideas and lean principles.
  • Coach new technical team as required.
  • Undertake any reasonable activities as required, including working away from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
  • +2 Years certifying Experience on Boeing B787 as a license holder.
  • +8 Years Experience in Line Maintenance
  • Boeing 787 Type Rating Level 3 and other fleet types in the company as required.
  • Ability to hold the appropriate security clearance required for the role.
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Diploma degree in aviation engineering, aircraft maintenance or a related field.
